My Case Studies

My Case Studies

01

Confer-Meet :
Meeting-room Booking App

For my solo UX case study for a course work, I developed a meeting-room booking app using the design thinking process. Conducting secondary research and user interviews, I created an empathy map, persona, and a user journey map. I utilized key insights to construct a diagram illustrating users' processes, needs & challenges, forming a foundation for the solution concept and the entire app. I applied the glassmorphism style to implement my idea. Following UI design, I conducted usability testing with Maze, measuring success, duration, error rates, task satisfaction, and overall usability.

Sky Peeker :
The Weather App

Participating in Product Design Bootcamp by Dev & Design, I collaborated with an international team to conceptualize and design a weather application. My key contributions included conducting competitive analysis, SWOT analysis, surveys, creating user personas, empathy maps, and designing the information architecture. Additionally, I crafted both low and high-fidelity wireframes and a prototype for a specific tab in the app.

the HIRING Desk - Job Portal
( A Proposed Solution )

In my PhD thesis, I advocated for a digital platform aimed at mitigating skill shortages in a region. Applying a systems thinking methodology, I utilized a causal loop diagram to pinpoint critical leverage points. Drawing inspiration from Donella Meadows' 12 Leverage Points, I identified strategic places and methods for effective interventions.

"Hold & Direct"
Student Filter Model

This is my award-winning student-centric solution model proposed for a university-level competition. Employing a design-thinking process, I analyzed the complex experiences and challenges faced by students in their journey toward becoming skilled professionals. Through thorough research and stakeholder interviews, I identified key pain points and formulated a comprehensive solution model.

My PhD Research
In A Nutshell

In my doctoral research, I delved into the critical issues of skill shortages and skill mismatch. Employing a thematic literature review, I crafted a conceptual framework using Nvivo. Subsequently, I conducted post-hoc analyses and hypothesis testing on SPSS. A notable outcome of my thesis is 'The Hiring Desk,' a digital platform recommended for addressing skill shortages and mismatch. The proposal integrates systems thinking and leverages Donella Meadows' intervention points for optimal impact.
